PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the understanding level of a calculation by sensuously representing the relation for each item and each calculation result, when a plurality of calculations of different numerical values are performed with an equivalent operator.SOLUTION: The mathematical expression display control device includes a key input section 19 and a CPU 11. The key input section 19 is used to input a mathematical expression including a numerical value and an operator. The CPU 11 determines whether the operator part in the previous input mathematical expression is equivalent to that in the presently input mathematical expression. When they are determined to be equivalent to each other, the CPU 11 determines whether there is a difference between the numerical value part in the previous input mathematical expression and that in the presently input mathematical expression. When it is determined that there is a difference, the CPU 11 makes a liquid crystal display section 21 display the digit in the numerical values that contributes to the different and the digits less than the digit in a display mode corresponding to the difference. |
