PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter lens driving mechanism of a lens barrel that is excellent in light shielding effect in a periphery of a converter lens with a compact configuration.SOLUTION: A converter lens driving mechanism of a lens barrel comprises: an insertion/retreating frame that is supported rotatably around a first shaft parallel to an optical axis with respect to a support member, and causes a converter lens to be inserted/retreated on the optical axis; a pair of light shielding blades that is located on an imaging plane side of the insertion/retreating frame, supported rotatably around a pair of second shafts parallel to the optical axis with respect to the support member, and performs a reciprocal rotation between a light shielding position where a circular opening corresponding to a diameter of the converter lens is formed at a position surrounding the optical axis while approaching each other and an open position where the circular opening is not formed while being mutually separated from the optical axis; and a driving ring that is supported rotatably around the optical axis with respect to the support member, positions the pair of light shielding blades at the light shielding position when the insertion/retreating frame is located at an insertion position, and positions the pair of light shielding blades at the open position when the insertion/retreating frame is located at a retreating position. |
