The present invention relates to a food container packaging device and a method of using the same and, more particularly, to a food container packaging device that can safely store foods by applying a plastic wrap on the top of a food container and thermally bonding the plastic wrap onto the food container, and a method of using the same. The food container packaging device according to the present invention comprises: a base member having a seating recess into which a food container is seated; a cover member for covering the top of the base member; and a main heater mounted on the bottom surface of the cover member, for thermally bonding a plastic wrap arranged on the top of the food container onto the edge of the food container, wherein the main heater of a band shape is arranged along the circumference of the seating recess when the cover member is lowered, and the band-shaped main heater comes into contact with the plastic wrap, thereby thermally bonding the plastic wrap onto the edge of the food container. |
