In the present invention, the foul smell and the fishy smell that constitute disadvantages of amino acid fertilisers are given a familiar smell trusted by people, such as a savoury smell or potato smell, by means of a Maillard reaction between a reducing sugar and a sulphur-containing amino acid, thereby giving the outstanding advantage of providing a production method for a novel amino acid fertiliser able to eliminate aversion on the part of people handling the fertiliser while at the same time promoting plant physiological activity via the sulphur-containing amino acid. |
