A vehicle control device comprises: an actuator which is provided in a door or a trunk of a vehicle; a transmitter which is provided in the vehicle and transmits a request signal to the outside of the vehicle; a receiver which is provided in the vehicle and receives radio waves from the outside of the vehicle; a control unit which is provided in the vehicle and actuates the actuator when a reservation signal is received by the receiver; and a portable unit which is provided with a storage unit for holding reservation information relating to the actuation of the actuator in response to a reservation input from the outside, and transmits the reservation signal in response to the reception of the request signal when the reservation information is held in the storage unit.
