Manufacturing sliding bearing (100) comprising an inner ring (130) and an outer ring (140), comprises providing at least one blank made of a starting material for the inner ring and outer ring, heat treating the blank, sanding the blank to form the sliding surface of the inner ring and the outer ring in a precursor, honing the sliding surface in the precursor, assembling the inner ring and the outer ring, treating assembled sliding bearing with an oil, mounting at least one gasket on the sliding bearing, and introducing an initial lubrication in an intermediate region of the sliding bearing. Manufacturing sliding bearing (100) comprising an inner ring (130) and an outer ring (140) which respectively exhibit at least one sliding surface, and are formed and arranged such that the inner ring and the outer ring which are mediated by the sliding surface of the inner ring and the sliding surface of the outer ring, are movable relative to each other, comprises (a) providing at least one blank made of a starting material for the inner ring and the outer ring, (b) heat treating the blank, (c) sanding the blank to form the sliding surface of the inner ring and the sliding surface of the outer ring in a precursor, (d) honing the sliding surface in the precursor, (e) assembling the inner ring and the outer ring to obtain the sliding bearing, (f) treating the assembled sliding bearing and/or the inner ring and the outer ring with an oil, (g) mounting at least one gasket on the sliding bearing such that the gasket seals a gap between the sliding surface of the inner ring and the sliding surface of the outer ring at a front surface of the sliding bearing or parallel to the front surface of the sliding bearing, and (h) introducing an initial lubrication in an intermediate region of the sliding bearing. The heat treatment of the blank, comprises a martensitic hardening for the inner ring and the outer ring or a bainitic hardening for the inner ring and the outer ring. An independent claim is also included for the sliding bearing comprising the inner ring, the outer ring and the gasket, where the inner ring and/or the outer ring are heat-treated, the sliding surface of the inner ring and/or the outer ring is honed, the sliding bearing is treated with the oil and exhibits an initial lubrication in the intermediate region, and the inner ring and the outer ring are martensitically hardened or bainitically hardened. |
