The acoustic panel (1) is attachable to walls, where a layer is provided, which extends over the entire width and length of the acoustic panel. The layer is made of a flame retardant foam, particularly foam glass or a flame-retardant needle-fleece. The wall facing away from the front side (3) of the layer is laminated or wallpapered with the fleece, paper or felt. The needle fleece layer is made of polyester or polycarbonate.
