PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral direction heat seal film having good tearability in a direction orthogonal to a film production direction, capable of preventing film strips generated during tearing, and having heat seal characteristics by film itself, and to provide an easy-to-open package with improved easy opening using the same.SOLUTION: A heat seal film 10A has a heat seal layer 12 capable of heat sealing on a single side of a base material layer 11 and is manufactured by biaxial drawing. The base material layer contains a polypropylene resin, the heat seal layer contains one or more kinds of an ethylene-propylene copolymer, an ethylene-propylene-1 butene copolymer and a copolymer of propylene-1 butene, and a draw ratio of a longitudinal MD of the heat seal film is 1.1 to 2 times and the draw ratio of a lateral TD is 5 to 30 times during the biaxial drawing of the heat seal film. |
