PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growing container which can be installed in a stable state without enlarging a basement of the plant growing container.SOLUTION: In a plant growing container 1, a plant 101 planted in a cultivation culture medium 100 is placed in a placing stand 10. A side wall is a transparent peripheral wall part 20 erected in the placing stand 10. A ceiling part 30 is disposed above the placing stand 10. The support 40 couples the ceiling part 30 and the placing stand 10. A light source 13 and a heavy power supply part 12 are disposed in the inside of the placing stand 10. The light emitted from the light source 13 is guided in the vicinity of the ceiling part 30 by a light guide 50 disposed along the support 40 to irradiate the plant 101 with the light.
