PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light and thin sight line detection device.SOLUTION: The sight line detection device comprises: a pair of lens; a frame holding the lenses; a beam splitter provided inside each of the lenses, which transmits a beam of light from a visual field to a direction of a user's eye and reflects a part of the beam of light from the visual field to a direction generally parallel to the lens plane as well as transmits a beam of light from the user's eye to a direction of the visual field and reflects a part of the beam of light from the user's eye to a direction generally parallel to the lens plane; a first light taking parts each disposed adjacent to the periphery of the lens in the frame for taking the light from the user's eye reflected by the beam splitter; and a second light taking parts each disposed adjacent to the periphery of the lens in the frame for taking the light from the visual field reflected by the beam splitter. |
