<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which can maintain high color rendering properties at least in a JIS illumination white region and vary an LED white color temperature which makes a color temperature variable and has high luminous efficiency.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device comprises: a package substrate 1 in which a blue LED chip 4, two short wavelength LED chips 2, a red LED chip 3 and four sections arranged in 2×2 by ribs are provided, and the blue LED chip 4 and the red LED chip 3 are installed in two sections among the four sections, which are located on a diagonal line and the two short wavelength LED chips 2 are installed in the remaining two sections; a fluorescent substance 5 which encapsulates one of the short wavelength LED chips 2 and which is excited by light of the short wavelength LED chip 2 to display a luminescent color in an intermediate wavelength region; and a fluorescent substance 17 which encapsulates the other of the short wavelength LED chips 2 and which is excited by light of the short wavelength LED chip 2 to display a luminescent color in a long wavelength region.</p> |
