PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive unit which can avoid or suppress the blow-out of a lubricant from a breather even if scrape-up lubrication is performed.SOLUTION: A separation wall plate 26 for partitioning the inside of an accommodation chamber 12 into a first storage part 27 in which a ring gear 16 is arranged and a second storage part 28 which makes a part of a lubricant returning to an oil pan flow therein is arranged while approximating a side face of the ring gear 16, and the separation wall plate 26 comprises a main body portion 30 arranged between the side face of the ring gear 16 and a wall face of the accommodation chamber 12, and a bent piece part 29 which is formed at the upper part of the main body portion 30 while being bent to the main body portion 30 so as to protect the breather from the lubricant which flies toward the upper part of the ring gear 16 by a centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the ring gear 16. |
