PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission unit which can surely prevent the deterioration of the quality of oil passages in vicinities of an inlet and an outlet of an oil warmer by improving the sealing performance of the oil passages in the vicinities of the inlet and the outlet of the oil warmer while reducing the number of pipe items more than before.SOLUTION: A transmission unit 100 is mounted with an oil warmer 10 which can raise a temperature of oil supplied to a transmission 30 by heat-exchange between the oil and engine cooling water flowing out of an engine 1, and comprises first and second housings which can form an accommodation space of a gear change mechanism of the transmission 30 in a state that joining faces are joined to each other. The oil warmer 10 is arranged in the vicinity of the joining faces in a plan view, and a portion of oil passages 54 in the vicinity of the inlet or the vicinity of the outlet of the oil warmer 10 is formed by using recessed grooves which are formed at the joining faces. |
