PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool in which a movable member can be stopped at a targeted position even if a turning member receives a force in a reverse direction caused by reaction generated when the turning member turns inertially to thereby collides with a stopper at a limit position after a driving part stops driving.SOLUTION: A pair of protrusion parts 47b protruding from the outer peripheral side of a ring gear (one example of a movable member) to a radial outer side are inserted in slide holes 40a of a transmission case 40 and cam holes 46 of a turning plate 42 constituting a shift-position changeover part. Each of the cam holes 46 has an operation hole part 46a extending to a direction slanting toward the peripheral direction of the turning plate 42, and the holding hole parts 46b which are continuously bored at both ends of the operation hole part 46a and extend at a prescribed angleθto the peripheral direction of the turning plate 42. Even if the turning plate 42 receives a force in a reverse direction caused by reaction generated when the turning plate 42 turns inertially to thereby collides with the stopper at a limit position upon changing a shift position, the slide resistance between the sidewall face 46c of the holding hole 46b having the prescribed angleθto a turning direction and the protrusion part 47b is imparted to the turning plate 42 and thereby, the turn of the turning plate 42 in the reverse direction is suppressed. |
