[Problem] To provide a novel gelatinizer which enables the formation of a gel in a simpler manner. [Solution] A gelatinizer comprising at least two components independently selected from alkylamide compounds each represented by general formula [I] (wherein R1 represents an aliphatic group which has 1 to 30 carbon atoms and may have a substituent) and alkylurea compounds each represented by general formula [II] (wherein R2 represents an aliphatic group which has 1 to 30 carbon atoms and may have a substituent), said gelatinizer having such a property that a gel formed using the gelatinizer exhibits a thixotropic behavior. |
