In this invention, a heater unit located on the interior of a distal end of an insertion part of an endoscope comprises: a heater for heating the interior of the distal end to prevent fogging on an optical component located on the interior of the distal end; a temperature sensor to measure the temperature of the interior of the distal end; and a flexible substrate. The heater unit also has an insulating sealing part that seals the entire temperature sensor, in addition to sealing the heater such that a heater mounting surface mounted to the flexible substrate is sealed and a heater joining surface on the reverse from the mounting surface and joined to a lens frame is exposed. |
