摘要 <p>In the present invention, a jetting means (2) that jets a gas in a direction that does not face a molten weld pool is provided along at least a first metal base material (11) at a position separated from a shield gas region (71) that encircles the molten weld pool at an arc welding section. Preferably, the jet is generated by the jetting means (2) before generating the arc. The jetting means is provided with: a blow-out member (49) having a blow-out opening (42) forming a wide flat shape; and a suction member (56) having a suction opening (52) forming an approximately analogous shape. The amount of suction of gas of the suction opening is preferably greater than the amount of blow-out from the blow-out opening. As a result, even if the surface in the vicinity of a welding site is not flat, it is possible to prevent spatter adhesion to a wide range of the surface of the base metal at a position separated from the shield gas shielded region.</p>
