The present invention relates to a system capable of performing charging and data communications and, more specifically, to a system capable of providing charging and data communications functions concurrently. The system capable of performing charging and data communications comprises the following: a bridge device to which a terminal and at least one external device are connected and provides a charging function, a data communications function, or a charging and data communications function to the terminal according to a type of the at least one external device; and a terminal which determines the type of the at least one external device connected to the bridge device according a type of a voltage received from the bridge device when being connected to the bridge device and performing a charging mode, a data communications mode, and a charging and data communications mode according to the type of the at least one external device. |
