Disclosed is a standby power blocking method of a power connecting device including an outlet and a connection part which is connected to a power source. The standby power blocking method includes the steps of: communicating with a master device; electrically connecting the outlet to the connection part if a first control signal is inputted from the master device; and electrically disconnecting the connection part from the outlet if a second control signal is inputted from the master device.
