<p>The distance to the upper surface of a workpiece (W) that is clamped between electrode rollers (15, 16) is measured using a distance-measuring sensor (41), which is in a previously determined positional relationship with respect to the electrode rollers (15, 16) (STEPS 1 and 3). On the basis of the distance measured by the distance-measuring sensor (41), the electrode rollers (15, 16) are moved with respect to the workpiece (W) so that the angle (Rx) formed by a line (L0), which connects the centers of the electrode rollers (15, 16) to each other, and the upper surface of the workpiece (W) is a previously established angle (STEP 5).</p> |
