PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device that suppresses the occurrence of cracks in a panel even upon reception of drop impact, vibration, and external force.SOLUTION: A plasma display device includes: a panel 11 including a front substrate having a plurality of display electrodes arranged thereon and a rear substrate having data electrodes arranged thereon to intersect with the display electrodes, which are arranged opposite to each other to form a discharge space therebetween, and has an outer peripheral part of the front substrate and an outer peripheral part of the rear substrate bonded with a sealing material 22; and a chassis member 20 that holds the panel 11 on the front side, and has driving circuit blocks for driving the panel 11 arranged on the rear side. The chassis member 20 includes a reinforcement part 20a to reinforce the chassis member 20 at outer peripheral ends, and the reinforcement part 20a is formed by providing a plurality of projection blocks 20b to be arranged in a side direction in an at least two straight line state and in a zigzag shape at a position outside an image display area of the panel 11 and inside the sealing material 22. |
