PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installed type imaging apparatus having improved degree of freedom in installation, allowing quick setting of an imaging range suitable for the installation state and improving operability. ! SOLUTION: The installed type imaging apparatus comprises: a main body part 1; a lens part 2 including an imaging optical system, and attached to the main body part in such a manner that an imaging direction can be changed; a drive part moving the imaging direction of the imaging optical system; absorption parts 12a, 12b, 12c provided on the main body part, and allowing installation by being attached to adhesion bodies 51a, 51b; a sensor part detecting visible light transmission properties of the adhesion body; and a control part determining an imaging direction of the imaging optical system based on an output of the sensor part, and moving the imaging optical system to the determined imaging direction with the drive part. !
