<p>A hydraulic shovel is configured in such a manner that at least part of an exhaust gas treatment device is located above an engine. The upper surface of an engine hood has a first flat surface section, a second flat surface section, and a sloped section. The first flat surface section is disposed above the engine. The second flat surface section is disposed above the exhaust gas treatment device at a position higher than the position of the first flat surface section. The second flat surface section has an air passage hole. The sloped section is disposed between the first flat surface section and the second flat surface section. The sloped section extends in a tilted position from the first flat surface section toward the second flat surface section.</p> |
