PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a switching power supply from an overvoltage.SOLUTION: A power-supply system includes: a switching power supply 20; a relay 40 provided between an AC power supply 15 and the switching power supply 20; a control device 100; an auxiliary power-supply circuit 50 for supplying a charging current to a power storage section CB; a relay drive circuit 80 for driving the relay 40 in response to a command outputted from the control device 100; and a voltage detection circuit 70 for detecting a voltage of the AC power supply 15. When starting up the switching power supply 20, the control device 100 performs overvoltage detection processing for detecting whether the AC power supply is in an overvoltage state on the basis of a detection value from the voltage detection circuit 70 and performs processing that maintains the relay 40 to a state disconnecting the connection between the AC power supply 15 and the switching power supply 20 when the overvoltage state is detected by the overvoltage detection processing. |
