PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle knee protector, structured lightly and inexpensively, which can reliably absorb impact energy and prevent interference between pedals and the knee even without extra front and rear spaces.SOLUTION: The vehicle knee protector comprises: a knee receiving face 20a that expands in a vehicle width direction, faces to a knee M of a crewmember and is arranged to overlap with a pedal mechanism 12 in a vehicle longitudinal direction; and a stay portion 20b that extends toward the front of the vehicle through one end in the vehicle width direction at the opposite side of a steering column 8, of the knee receiving face 20a and is attached to a P-P member 6. The knee receiving face 20a, when the knee M contacts the face on collision of the vehicle, is folded to incline toward the steering column 8 centering around a boundary portion a between the stay portion 20b and the face so as to guide the knee M in a direction of separating the knee from the pedal mechanism 12 toward the steering column 8 and guide the pedal mechanism 12 in a direction of separating the mechanism from the knee M toward the opposite side of the steering column 8. |
