PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize novel ganged control in a wireless train control system.SOLUTION: A train control system 1 includes an onboard device 20, which is mounted on a train 10, and a ground apparatus 30 in such a manner that the onboard device and the ground device can wirelessly communicate with each other. The ground apparatus 30 designates as a scheduled course a route, which ends at a requested arrival point with a leading position of the train as a departure point, in response to a course creation request, and sequentially occupies ground facilities (points 40 and candidates for the arrival point), which are located on the scheduled course and can be occupied, in order of being close to the departure point of the course. Thereafter, the occupied ground facilities are locked, and a zone including the locked ground facilities is designated as an advancement permissible zone. The onboard device 20 creates a speed collation pattern to be used to bring the train to a halt at an advancement limit position that is a terminal of the advancement permissible zone, and implements travel control (speed control). |
