The method involves positioning sealing disks (1) in a roller by a centering aid during assembly of the sealing disks. The roller and the sealing disks are fixed in a working position, where the sealing disks and the roller are brought in contact at a centering position. The centering aid consists of two half-rings that are removed after fixation. A centering device consists of a cone that is pressed in the sealing disks and moved to a fixing unit of the sealing disks and rotates with a roll tunnel. The sealing disks and a bearing (6) of the roller are rigidly connected with housing parts.
