PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component capable of simply obtaining assembly accuracy of a member on a fiber side, etc. even in a resin molding, and an optical device including the component.SOLUTION: Since an outer diameter D2 of an end surface 12c of a holder part 12 is smaller than the maximum outer diameter D1 of the holder part 12, if an adhesive 91 does not exceed the maximum outer diameter D1 of the holder part 12 even when the adhesive 91 overflows into the periphery of the end surface 12c as an optical component 10 is fixed to a substrate 30, the overflowed adhesive 91 can be prevented from hindering fixing of a cover 71 to the substrate 30 and assembly accuracy of the cover 71 can therefore be simply obtained. When the portion of the maximum outer diameter D1 of the holder part 12 is used, positioning accuracy related to centering of the cover 71 is obtained. Avoided is reduction of intensity of the holder part 12 as in when a leg-shaped holder part 12 is uniformly thinned. |
