The present invention relates to the technical field of communications, in particular to a method, device and system for implementing Node Port Virtualization (NPV) in a Fibre Channel (FC). Corresponding to a N_port ID of a remote node, multiple different virtualization N_port IDs are respectively allocated on multiple N ports of a NPV switch. Because each remote node is allocated with the virtualization N_port ID on more than one N_port of the NPV switch, no matter a node connecting with the NPV switch registers on anyone of these N_ports, the node can obtain the virtualization N_port ID of each remote node corresponding to the N_port, thus anyone of nodes connecting with the NPV switch can communicate with anyone of remote nodes, and the communication efficiency is improved.
