The power tool has a cooling unit (14) for partly cooling of a drive unit (10) and/or an electronic unit (12). A supplemental cooling unit (16) is adapted for partly cooling of a functional unit (18). The cooling unit and the supplemental cooling unit are partly adapted for temporally and/or spatially offset cooling. The supplemental cooling unit includes a fan, a heat sink and an air guide element. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling of a functional unit of a hand-held power tool.
