<p>The invention relates to the field of communication and information science, and more particularly to a method for profiling users in an information system. The present invention can be used in the creation and use of information systems for various purposes and for institutional use, including social networks, in which data from various sources is generated, searched, processed and stored, inter alia in such fields as social and recreational networks and portals, commerce, medicine, science and education. The proposed method makes it possible to take into full consideration a user's interests with respect to information generated, transmitted and received by said user in the form of text messages from other users and from suppliers of informational content, and also makes it possible to take into consideration group interests, interrelations between users and their mutual reaction to information. Furthermore, information services and information exchange are rendered personal and targeted, taking into account the current needs of users. The invention also has considerable socio-predictive potential.</p> |
