The present invention relates to a system for providing broadcast information and, more particularly, to a system for providing a dedicated channel for displaying viewer rating information based on real-time viewer rating information for collecting viewing information of a broadcast, which a plurality of viewers are currently viewing, and ranking a viewer rating in real-time to show a plurality of broadcasts having a high real-time viewer rating ranking on a plurality of split regions so that the viewer can easily select a broadcast, which the viewer wishes to view, while sequentially viewing broadcasts reflecting the real-time viewer ratings. The present invention includes: a viewer rating information collecting system to collect viewing information of a real-time broadcast; a screen splitting system to receive viewer rating information of each channel from the viewer rating information collecting system, and to generate split screen broadcast information for each viewer rating ranking of a channel so that one or more broadcast information of the channel having a predetermined viewer rating ranking are displayed; and a viewer rating information channel encoder to encode the split screen broadcast information of each viewer rating ranking. |
