The present invention relates to a maintenance vehicle (20) for skip slopes, on which a mounting (1) for a drum (7) for reeling a cable (13) is mounted, said mounting comprising: a base (2) to be attached onto the chassis of the vehicle (20); a pivotable hinged portion (3) supporting the drum (7), the pivot pin (5) being perpendicular to the rotational axis (9) of the spool (7); and a means (11) for actuating the pivotable hinged portion (3) about the pivot pin (5), in an alternating manner, between first and second predetermined positions during the reeling of the cable (13) in order to enable the regular reeling of the cable (13) over the axial width (L) of the drum (7). |
