The invention relates to a black box device and, more specifically, to a black box device having a holder and the black box connected to an external modem using a wire, comprising: a communications modem which is mounted in a vehicle, and transmits received video information to an affiliated server; the black box which obtains the video information, is configured to allow the video information to be transmitted to the affiliated server through the wired interface for communicating with the communications modem, and has an independent configuration separated from the communications modem; and the holder which is connected to the black box and the communications modem. The video information of the black box includes accident video information generated by extracting the video information of before and after by a set up point, and the accident video information is produced by the motion of a transmitting input switch formed in the black box.
