The present invention relates to a curing time setting apparatus and a setting method of a green tire in terms of curing the green tire with a forming process completed during the production process of the tire. Especially related to the curing time setting apparatus and a setting method according to thickness of the green tire, the curing time needed for curing the green tire is set out in accordance with the thickness of the tread of the green tire. For this, the curing time setting apparatus of the green tire comprises: a loader (2) where the green tire (1) is inputted into the vulcanizer; a thickness measuring device (4) arranged as the device is allowed to move along a horizontal fixture (3) of the loader (2); a sensor (5) detecting signals of the thickness measuring device (4); and a PLC (6) where the curing time is calculated according to the signals measured by the sensor (5). Based on the order of the PLC, the curing time of the vulcanizer is readjusted. |
