The control unit has a switch- and selector shaft (1) for a vehicle gearbox for selecting and switching multiple gears. The switch- and selector shaft has a locking unit for preventing an unintended skipping of a to-be selected shift gate. The locking unit comprises a locking element assigned to the switch- and selector shaft and another housing-side arranged locking element. The locking elements are in operative connection for blocking a selection movement upon reaching a to-be selected shift gate. An independent claim is included for a method for actuating a locking unit of a control unit. |
