Described are methods for producing a card. The methods include providing a transparent plastic layer, printing at least one first labeling layer of the card on the plastic layer, printing at least one middle layer of the card on the first labeling layer of the card, printing at least one second labeling layer of the card on the middle layer of the card, and severing the card from the layer arrangement. Also described are methods for simultaneously producing a card and a card holder. The methods further include producing a predetermined breaking point between the card and the card holder, and severing the card and card holder from the layer arrangement, with the card and the card holder remaining connected to each other by way of the predetermined breaking point. |
