A sign comprises a base (28), a display panel (22) and a wedge (36); whereby said base, said display panel and said wedge are initially disparate units adapted to be assembled into said sign; said display panel (22) incorporating a lower portion with a hole; said base (28) incorporating at least one elongate aperture for receiving said lower portion; whereby when said wedge (36) is placed in said hole, said wedge secures said display panel to said base. The wedge may incorporate an engagement tapered surface with a cantilevered abutment arm. |
