PURPOSE: An aromatic polyamide polymer and a method for preparing the same, and an aramid fiber and a method of for preparing the same are provided to improve color property by preventing oxidation of amine configuring a chain end of a polymer. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an aromatic polyamide polymer comprises the steps of: preparing a polymerization solvent; preparing a mixed solution by dissolving an aromatic diamine in the polymerization solvent; producing a polymer by adding aromatic diacid halide to the mixed solution and polymerizing the aromatic diamine and aromatic diacid halide; and preventing the oxidation of amine configuring a chain end of a polymer.
