The present invention relates to a dishwasher and a controlling method thereof. The dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a tub; a circulation duct which is connected to the exterior of the tub to discharge air into the tub and draw in the discharged air; and a circulation fan which adjusts the flow of air moving in the circulation duct in order to control the area where the discharged air from the circulation duct and the moisture evaporated from the tub are mixed.
