The present invention relates to a device for opening and shutting a glove box and a controlling method thereof, comprising the steps of: determining target voltage to correspond to the opening and closing state of the glove box; measuring feedback voltage obtained from a potentiometer having the value of resistance changed according to the opening degree of a glove box door; comparing the target voltage with the feedback voltage; applying power to an actuator in a direction of opening the glove box door if the target voltage is lower than the feedback voltage; applying power to the actuator in a direction of shutting the glove box door if the target voltage is higher than the feedback voltage; and resetting the target voltage if load occurs while the actuator is being operated. |
