PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractable front guard that allows easy position change operation of an upper frame and improves the appearance quality. SOLUTION: Lower parts 39b of right and left side frame materials 39 of upper frames 32 are disposed outside of right-left direction of a support frame material upper part 33a of a lower frame 31 at the same side in the right-left direction, and the side frame material lower parts 39b are pivotally connected to the support frame upper parts 33a. Front-rear restricting surfaces 48 and 49 are provided on one side of right-left direction inner surfaces of the support frame material upper part 33a and the side frame material lower parts 39b, and an engaging part 51 that locates between the front-rear restricting surfaces 48 and 49 is provided on the other side. An engaging part 51 positions the upper frame 32 to a guard position A that protects a hood 7 by restricting the backward rocking of the upper frame 32 by touching the restricting surface 48, 49 at one front-rear side, and positions the upper frame 32 to a save position B falling to front side from the guard position A by restricting the forward rocking of the upper frame 32 by touching the restricting surface 48, 49 at the other front-rear side.
