METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYMER NANOPARTICLE COMPOUNDS USING A NANOPARTICLE DISPERSION

A nanoparticle-containing molding compound is produced using a method which has the following steps: a) a thermoplastic molding compound in the form of compact particles is provided; b) a dispersion of nanoparticles in a dispersing agent is applied onto the surface of the molding compound particles; c) the dispersion is allowed to be drawn into the edge zone of the molding compound particles; and d) the dispersing agent is removed at a temperature of at least 50 °C. Using said method, the nanoparticles are introduced into the edge zone of the molding compound particles so as to adhere to said edge zone. The nanoparticles are homogeneously distributed in the thus produced molded bodies.
