摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding method and device using a liquid coolant, which enhance rust-preventive, detergent and antiseptic effects on a workpiece and adsorption and separation effects on grinding dust of the foamlike liquid coolant, and downsize equipment and reduce the running cost. SOLUTION: In the grinding method and the device 100 using a foamlike liquid coolant, an inert gas is made to permeate through the inside 10B of an electrodeposited grinding wheel 10 from the center 10A of the electrodeposited grinding wheel 10 and to spurt to the outer circumference surface 10C of the grinding wheel 10. The liquid coolant K is made to be a strong alkaline solution K1 by introducing a natural soap based foaming agent S. The strong alkaline solution K1 is made to be a foamlike liquid coolant KO by foaming when the strong alkaline solution K1 is spurted toward the outer circumference surface 10C of the grinding wheel 10 from both side faces of the grinding wheel 10. The foamlike liquid coolant KO surrounds the processing point P and the whole outer circumference surface 10C of the electrodeposited grinding wheel 10 so that the electrodeposited grinding wheel 10 and the workpiece W are cooled and the grinding dust is adsorbed in an anoxic state.
