FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining silicate glass is realised due to the application of a combined charge mixture, which contains quartz sand of the fraction 0.1-0.9 or quartz grains of the fraction 0.1-0.4 in an amount of 70-100%, preliminarily moistened with a solution of metal chloride salt in an amount of 0.05-1.5 wt %, and amorphous silica in an amount of 0-30 wt % separately or in a mixture with the remaining charge components with humidity 0.1-5%.
