Disclosed is a method for producing an absorbent article, by which an absorbent article (1) that comprises at least a back surface sheet (20), which is obtained by bonding a back sheet (120A) and a nonwoven sheet (120B) together, and an absorbent body (30) that is bonded to the back surface sheet (20) is produced. The method for producing an absorbent article comprises a sheet stretching step (S20) in which the back sheet (120A) is stretched with an embossing roll mechanism (520), while being conveyed in a predetermined machine direction (MD), and a sheet bonding step (S40) in which a composite sheet (120) is formed by bonding the back sheet (120A) to the nonwoven sheet (120B). |
