METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SYNCHRONIZING ADDRESS BOOK IN MOBILE TERMINAL AND SERVER

A method and a device to synchronize an address book in a mobile terminal and a server client are provided. The provided method includes a step of transmitting a start signal which has an address book identifier to an address book agent when an address book application is started in a mobile terminal. In response to the start signal, synchronization information to synchronize an address book of the address book application is received, and the synchronization information is generated by the address book agent in response to an update information from an address book server. Also, the method includes a step of synchronizing the address book of the application using the synchronization information.
