The present invention relates to a fixing member for electrophotography. A fixing member for electrophotography according to one embodiment of the present invention includes (a) a fixing member body having a surface and (b) a release layer which is fixed to the surface. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the release layer includes the monolayer of organic silane compound.
