PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of facilitating work for checking the mounting state of a seal material. SOLUTION: In the pipe joint 11, a spigot 15 of one pipe 14 is inserted into a socket 13 of the other pipe 12 and in the socket 13, the annular seal material 35 is provided for sealing an inner peripheral surface of the socket and an outer peripheral surface of the spigot. The seal material 35 is provided with a displacement checking piece 39 which is exposed to the outside from an opening end face 40 of the socket 13 when the mounting state is normal. The displacement checking piece 39 has an exposure part 41 exposed to the outside from the opening end face 40 of the socket 13 and a continuous part 42 provided continuously between a heel 24 of the seal material 35 and the exposure part 41.
