PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure detector capable of reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: The pressure detector detects the pressure of a measuring object with a sensor part provided with an oscillator, and is provided with a control part for controlling an operation timing of the sensor part, and a power supply part for applying a drive voltage to the sensor part on the basis of the operation timing instructed by the control part, the power supply part applying an initial voltage that is lower than the drive voltage and prompts oscillation of the oscillator, prior to the application of the drive voltage.
